OUR STORY
STEAM VALLEY BIBLE CHURCH HAS BEEN PART OF THE TROUT RUN COMMUNITY FOR MANY YEARS. WE ARE A SMALL, COMMITTED CONGRETATION SEEKING TO FAITHFULLY FOLLOW JESUS CHRIST, TEACH GOD'S WORD, AND LIVE IT OUT IN EVERYDAY LIFE.
WE VALUE BIBICAL TEACHING, PRAYER, FELLOWSHIP, AND SERVING OTHERS. OUR DESIRE IS TO BE A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE CAN GROW IN THEIR FAITH, BUILD MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS, AND FIND ENCOURAGEMENT FOR DAILY LIFE.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
OUR BELIEFS ARE GROUNDED IN THE BIBLE AS THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD.

The Bible is the inspired and inherent Word of God and our final authority for faith and life.

God is the one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of the virgin Mary. Jesus died for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and now reigns in heaven.

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.

The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers for godly living and service.

Humanity was created in God’s image but fell into sin and is in need of redemption through Christ.

Christ is the head of the church, His body. The church is called to submit to Christ, worship God , teach Scripture, love one another, and proclaim the Gospel.

Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to establish His earthly kingdom and complete God’s plan for history.

Eternal destiny includes the resurrection of all people – believers to eternal life with God and unbelievers to eternal punishment.
